Speaking of the best, meet Fidan – our versatile expert on developing children’s minds. We can proudly say that Fidan is our secret weapon, and she uses her talents to childrens’ benefit.
Fidan has been involved in education field for over 8 years. She joined Better Academy in 2016. During her lessons, she emphasizes the importance of finding common language with each student, and states mutual understanding as one of the main roads to success. Fidan loves to arouse children’s curiosity about the world, make them actively involved in the topic, and ultimately explore it in their free time. Moreover, teamwork plays a significant role in her classes – this way students practice team building skills that are crucial in the workplace of the future.
Fidan is originally from Azerbaijan, where she graduated from the Moscow State University with specialization in Psychology. She is fluent in six languages: Azeri, Polish, English, Russian, Turkish and Spanish. Passion for languages doesn’t stop there – at the moment she’s learning German and Dutch. She began her adventure with education in her native country, where she worked with children aged 6-8 in developing logical thinking , as well as teaching leadership skills to 12-15 year-olds.
Fidan’s knowledge and amazing abilities are complemented by her increasingly rich experience, including that of working with children. Among others she graduated psychological course in “Activity Theory and Higher Education” in Helsinki, while in Bosnia she conducted classes for orphans.
In recent years Fidan has developed a new passion – Programming. She intensively deepens her knowledge on this topic, sharing her experience with kids, teaching them basics of coding. Further on, in her free time she actively seeks innovative methods and ways to develope these abilities in children.
Fidan loves traveling, appreciates diversity of cultures, enjoys meeting new and interesting people, as well as working with children and sharing knowledge with them.
In spring semester she conducts basics of coding courses in British School of Warsaw.
