Online Physics Classes for Teens

At Better Academy, our physics classes not only provide a solid foundation in this fascinating field of science but also open the door to understanding its practical applications in everyday life. Our mission is to prepare students for exams and competitions while also developing their curiosity, analytical thinking, and passion for learning.

What do we focus on?

  • Our goal is to help students gain a thorough understanding of advanced-level physics and, most importantly, to grasp how physics applies to real-life situations. We emphasize the development of practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge.

  • These classes aim to prepare students not only for high school final exams (Matura) but also for future studies in science and engineering.

  • For younger learners in primary school, we offer dedicated sessions to prepare them for national science competitions in physics. These students will gain and refine the skills needed to succeed in the exciting world of physics.

  • Our lessons expand students’ knowledge beyond just physics, incorporating elements of the broader STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics).

Meet Waldemar – your physics mentor

Waldemar is a passionate and experienced physics teacher whose approach focuses on real-world application, curiosity-driven learning, and individual student support.

For Waldemar, teaching physics today means:

  • Helping students understand that learning physics is not just about memorizing formulas, but about applying them to solve real-life problems and analyze the world around them.
  • Creating a safe and inspiring space where students stop fearing physics and start enjoying it.
  • Shifting the focus from what students don’t know to what they already observe and intuitively understand — and then expanding those insights with guidance.
  • Contributing to the future of technology by educating the next generation of engineers who will shape the world.
  • Showing the connections between physics and other branches of science.

Sample lesson topics:

  • “How are waves created and how do they move?”

  • “The world of mechanical waves”

  • “The world of electromagnetic waves – radio, microwave, visible light, X-rays, gamma rays. What are their properties? Why are they important in science? How do we use them in everyday life?”

  • “White light: Does light behave like a wave? Refraction, reflection, diffraction – let’s look for real-life evidence.”

  • “Infrared light – how can we see it? All you need is a remote and a smartphone!”

  • “UV radiation – why does it give us a tan?”
